This
calendar was first published in
1960 by R. Moshe Luksenberg, of blessed memory. In those days,
before the Internet, the publication of these times was an
extensive project. At first we send off for copies the Shabbat
times from various Jewish communities abroad and then compiled
the information in one big list. Later we went on to collect the
longitude and latitude data of the cities and calculated the
dates and times manually…. |

הלוח
נוסד בשנת 1960 ע"י ר' משה לוקסנברג ז"ל.
בימים עברו לפני עידן האינטרנט, הפקת לוח הזמנים היה פרוייקט מורכב
למדי. בשנים הראשונות הזמנו את לוחות השבת של הקהילות היהודיות
בחו"ל, וצירפנו את הנתונים לטבלה אחת גדולה. אחר כך עברנו לאיסוף
הנתונים לפי קווי האורך והרוחב. כל החישובים לכל התאריכים והיעדים
נערכו ביד...

Once the
internet became a usable
and accessible tool, we decided to continue our tradition with
this technology and developed this site. |

הפיכת רשת האינטרנט לשימושית ונגישה, החלטנו
להמשיך את המסורת להתקדם עם הטכנולוגיה, ולהעלות את האתר לרשת
האינטרנט. |

This table
contains invaluable data
for any traveler who plans a flight and stay abroad. There are
other sites that provide similar information; the emphasis of
these pages is on the simplicity in which the surfer can access
the relevant data and the confidence which this publication was
accepted in the past by the travel agents in Israel. |

זה יש מידע חיוני לכל נוסע המתכנן את
טיסותיו ואת שהותו בחוץ לארץ. אמנם ישנם ברשת עוד אתרים המספקים קצת
ממידע זה, אך הדגש בלוח שלנו הוא על הפשטות שבה מועבר המידע לגולש,
והאמינות שיצר הלוח הוותיק בקרב סוכני הנסיעות בארץ. |
